What is Vriligy?

It is a sexual dysfunction medicine that is used to delay ejaculation time.

Uses of Vriligy

• • Premature ejaculation

• • Increase the ejaculation time

• • To get control over ejaculation

Working of Vriligy

It helps increase the serotonin level in the brain, which regulates sexual function.

Common side effects

Mild, short-lived side effects include –

• • Headache

• • Nausea

• • Dizziness

• • Weakness

• • Insomnia

• • Diarrhea

Serious side effects

• • Fainting

• • Seizures

• • Fast and low heartbeat

• • Severely low blood pressure

• • Chest pain, mood changes

• • Blurred vision

Precautions:

To be cautiously used in –

• • Neuropsychiatric disorders- depression, seizures, anxiety

• • Kidney dysfunctions

• • Liver dysfunctions

• • Bleeding disorder

• • Drug abuse

Contraindications

Should not take Vriligy when -

• • Hypersensitivity or allergy to the drug components.

In severe -

• • Heart complications

• • Liver disorders

• • Not recommended to be used in women.

Warnings

• • Should not be used above 18 and below 65 years of age.

• • To be used under medical prescription.

Important safety information

• • Avoid Alcohol consumption

• • Do not drive, as it may cause dizziness

• • Avoid using with other SSRIs, Nitrates, or MAO inhibitors

How to take Vriligy?

• • Take 1 to 3 hours before sexual activity.

• • Not recommended for daily usage.

Drug Interactions-

• • Various drugs, when used with Vriligy, increase the risk of fainting.

• • Rifampicin

• • Antivirals

• • Antifungals

• • Hypertensive drugs – alpha blockers

• • Linezolid antibiotics
